Every year, several Marywood University coaches offer sport camps which are run on Marywood's campus. In addition, some outside companies or coaches offer camps which are held on Marywood's beautiful campus. Most of the camps are co-ed and age offerings usually range from 8-18 years old.
In addition, Marywood coaches may offer skill clinics or other team events throughout the year as fundraising or community service projects. Please check this page often for updates on future camps.

Junior High/Freshman Team Camp - June 25-27, 2010. The camp is for boys teams, grades 7-9, and the cost is $250 per team (one team). Two teams from the same school who enter the camp will be charged $400 total. Five games in Marywood's Insalaco Arena are guaranteed.
Co-ed Individual Day Camp - August 2-6, 2010. The camp will run from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm Monday through Friday. The camp is for boys and girls, grades 4-9. The cost is $135 per camper. Marywood employees (or friends of Marywood employees) will receive a $20 discount, making the price $115. The camp includes games in Marywood's Insalaco Arena, daily contests, skill development, guest lectures, a Friday pizza party and expert instruction from college coaches and players. Group and sibling discounts are available.

Girl's High School Basketball Shootout - brochure coming soon!
Marywood University's Women's Basketball's Annual High School Girl's Basketball Shootout will be held this year on August 6-8, 2010. Please note that we will schedule games around your schedules as Coach Macciocco knows this is a busy time of the year.
This event is a fundraiser for our women’s basketball team and is a great opportunity for your players to compete in the Mellow Center for Athletics and Wellness on the campus of Marywood University. The cost for the shootout is $170 per team (any additional team from the same school is $135). All games will be officiated by PIAA officials and will also have an official scorekeeper.

Marywood "Inside the 18" Soccer Camp - brochure coming soon!
For the second consecutive year, Marywood University will be offering a day soccer camp designed for local youth soccer players. Marywood soccer coaches Andrew Smith and Dawson Driscoll will co-direct the camp. Coach Smith is entering his 11th season as Head Women's Coach at Marywood while Coach Driscoll is entering his fifth as the Head Men's Soccer Coach. Both are CPR/First Aid/AED certified and both hold USSF "B" coaching licenses and their NSCAA Premier Diplomas.
Coach Smith recently led the Marywood women's team to the NCAA tournament for the first time in school history after winning the 2008 CSAC Championship. In 2009, the Pacers finished as conference runner-up after winning the regular season championship with an unbeaten league record. He has been named Conference Coach of the Year on three occasions (2005, 2008, 2009). Coach Driscoll led the Marywood's men's team to their first-ever post-season berth in the conference tournament in 2008 and was named the Missouri Athletic Conference Coach of the Year in 1999. Both have extensive experience working at camps and working with youth programs over the course of their careers.
This year's camp will be held from July 12-16, 2010 at Marywood University's synthetic turf field. The half-day camp will run from 9:00am - 12:00pm and is for boys and girls, ages 6-12 (or grades 2-8). For a fee of just $100, campers will receive 15 hours of expert instruction, a camp t-shirt and prizes. Campers are broken down into groups and trained according to age, ability and skill level.

This soccer camp is held each year at Marywood University. East Stroudsburg University (D2) Head Men's Coach Jerry Sheska is the camp director. The camp is for skilled high school aged players. The first week (July 18-22) is for girls only, ages 13-17 while the second week (July 25-29) is for boys of the same age.
A minimum of 11 players from your team attending the week will qualify you as a team for that week. Each camper will receive discounts and the coach will attend the week free of charge. A staff member will be assigned to each team, and will be instructing the team in areas such as advanced technical and tactical training, functional training and restarts.
The Pocono Cup Camp offers a 4 v 4 tournament. Using our exclusive scheduling system we are able to play an afternoon of soccer where players are matched up with different teammates and playing different opponents each game. Through our own unique scoring system, we are able to come up with one individual winner out of over one hundred competitors!
The "Upper Ninety" Goalkeeper Camp runs in conjunction with the Pocono Cup Camp and all goalkeepers are invited to participate in this aspect of the camp.
