Box Score

Scranton, PA - Rosemont College got a key road win in their inaugural meeting with host Marywood University by placing four players in double figures en route to a 81-65 victory over the hosts. Both teams now stand at 2-7 in CSAC play. Rosemont improved to 4-11 overall with the win while Marywood fell to 5-10.

Abraham Bah led all Raven scorers with 19 points but was assisted by double-digit outputs from Harrison Carsillo (17 points), Justin Chaney (15 points) and Rusling Slawter (12 points). D.J. Strayhorn (Henryville, PA) had a career high 29 points for Marywood to lead all scorers while Matthew Medici (Princeton Junction, NJ) added 15.

The visitors raced out to a nine-point lead at halftime thanks to Carsillo's 10-point opening half. The sophomore dropped down two of three from long range in the opening half while the Ravens' defense held Marywood to 0-12 shooting from behind the arc in the first half and just 2 of 24 for the game. Rosemont, meanwhile, hit 8 of 20 from three-point land.

Trailing by double-digits for most of the second half, Marywood got back to within four (64-60) after several D.J. Strayhorn free throw shots. Strayhorn penetrated the lane several times and either connected for a layup and a foul or drew two shots. But the Ravens responded with an 11-1 run to put the game away.

Marywood returns to action Monday when they visit Centenary College in Hackettstown, New Jersey in another key CSAC game. Tip-off is scheduled for 8:00 pm.
