Scranton, PA – Marywood University has become official members of the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC), America’s largest sporting conference. Dr. Mary Jo Gunning, Director of Athletics and Recreation, made the announcement today. Marywood, members of the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC), becomes members of the nation's largest athletic conference and only multi-divisional conference, with approximately 300 member institutions ranging across 16 states from Maine to North Carolina and westerly to Illinois.

Scranton, PA – Marywood University has named Greg Brown as the first-ever Aquatics Director and Head Coach of the Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving programs according to an announcement made today by Dr. Mary Jo Gunning, Director of Athletics and Recreation. Brown comes to Marywood after spending four seasons as the head women’s swimming coach at Division I Siena College, where he was the winningest coach in Saints’ history.

Scranton, PA - The Athletics and Recreation Department is proud to introduce the Marywood University Aquatics Center! Expected to open during the 2010-2011 academic year, the new 17,000-square foot Aquatics Center will be the region's premier swimming and diving facility, serving 3,500 Marywood University students, including the new Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving teams. Marywood University is a member of NCAA Division III and competes in the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC).
