Scranton, PA - Immaculata University used an 18-2 run over nearly an eight-minute span midway through the second half to take control of Tuesday evening's first round Colonial States Athletic Conference playoff game on their way to a 61-48 victory over Marywood University. The sixth-seeded Mighty Macs improve to 16-9 with the win and advance to play top-seeded Neumann University in the conference semifinals on Thursday while the Pacers end their season with an 18-7 record.

Scranton, PA - Marywood University's women's basketball team will host Immaculata University in the first round of the Colonial State Athletic Conference playoffs on Tuesday evening. The game between third-seeded Pacers and sixth-seeded Mighty Macs will tip-off at 7:00 p.m. in Marywood's Insalaco Arena.

Aston, PA – Four Marywood University women’s basketball players were honored today as the Colonial States Athletic Conference announced the recipients of the Player, Rookie and Coach of the year; First, Second and Honorable Mention All-Conference teams and individual sportsmanship awards. Mariah Schaeffer was named Second Team All-Conference while Lizzy Green and Amanda Lass picked up All-Conference Honorable Mention accolades. Erin Furlong was named to the CSAC Sportsmanship Team.

Scranton, PA – Marywood University completed a perfect regular season on their home court with a 63-44 win over Philadelphia Biblical University on Saturday afternoon. With the win, the Pacers improve to 18-6 on the season and finish atop the CSAC North Division with a 13-3 mark in conference play. Marywood’s 18 wins are the second most in school history, trailing only the 1986-87 team that went 19-8 and reached the NCAA Tournament.

Langhorne, PA – Marywood University broke open a tied game with a 22-2 run to start the second half on their way to a 68-53 win over Philadelphia Biblical University in Colonial States Athletic Conference women’s basketball action on Thursday evening. With the win the Pacers improve to 17-6 on the season and 12-3 in conference play.  Marywood’s 17 wins on the season is tied for the second-best in program history and is the most since the 1991-92 Pacers who went 17-9 under former head coach Jerry Dempsey.

Scranton, PA – Marielle Thorsen had 19 points and Stephanie Fusaro added 18 points, both season-highs, to lift Marywood University to a 75-55 win over Cedar Crest College in Colonial States Athletic Conference action Monday night, securing the Pacers’ second-straight playoff appearance. Marywood, who is now unbeaten in 11 home games, improves to 16-6 on the season and 11-3 in conference play while the Falcons fall to 13-11 overall and 7-7 in the CSAC.

Scranton, PA –Lizzy Green (Shenandoah, PA) of Marywood University was named to the Colonial States Athletic Conference women’s basketball honor roll for the week ending February 14th. Green scored a game-high 20 points and added 7 rebounds in 70-65 overtime win over Rosemont on Monday.

Radnor, PA – Cabrini College used an 18-4 run late in the second half to break open a tight game and pick up a 70-56 win over Marywood University in Colonial States Athletic Conference action Saturday afternoon. With the win, the Cavaliers improve to 14-9 on the season and 10-3 in conference play while the Pacers fall to 15-6 on the season and 10-3 in the CSAC.

Scranton, PA - Marywood University's Women's Basketball team will host a Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) "Pink Zone" game on Monday, February 15, as the Pacers take on Cedar Crest College in a key CSAC match up. The WBCA Pink Zone® initiative is a global, unified effort for the WBCA's nation of coaches to assist in raising breast cancer awareness on the court, across campuses, in communities and beyond.
