Aston, PA - Marywood University catcher Jason Bugno has been named to the All-CSAC Baseball First Team while third baseman Mike Castellano was named to the second team as the Colonial States Athletic Conference announced the end of year award winners as voted on by the league's head coaches. The two seniors were joined on the All-Conference team by classmate David Lewis, who was Marywood's representative on the All-Sportsmanship team.

Scranton, PA - Senior Jeff Cleary pitched a complete game but Gwynedd-Mercy College used two two-run homers to escape Scranton with a 6-3 win over the host Pacers Sunday afternoon. The Griffins improved to 22-13 (13-5 CSAC) and have wrapped up the second seed in the upcoming CSAC playoffs while Marywood's season comes to a close at 11-24 (6-12 CSAC).

Gwynedd Valley, PA – Gwynedd-Mercy plated 44 combined runs in a two-game sweep of Marywood University in Colonial States Athletic Conference play on Saturday afternoon to improve to 21-13 on the season and 12-5 in conference play. After winning the first game 19-6, the Griffins claimed the nightcap 25-7, dropping the Pacers to 11-23 overall and 6-11 in the CSAC.

Aston, PA - The Neumann University baseball team swept of a pair of conference games from Marywood University Saturday afternoon. The Knights used a strong last inning at-bat in the opener to take a 11-10 win and then cruised to a 9-2 win in the nightcap. The losses drop the Pacers to 11-21 (6-9 CSAC) and now Marywood must win all three remaining CSAC games next weekend against Gwynedd-Mercy and hope for Centenary losses in order to qualify for post-season play.

Scranton, PA - Neumann University scored ten runs over the first three innings of play and never looked back as the visiting Knights beat Marywood University 12-1 in the opening game of their three game CSAC series Friday afternoon in Scranton.  The Knights, who belted out 23 hits in the game and allowed just four, improve to 14-13 (8-5 CSAC) while Marywood was handed their seventh straight loss and fall to 11-19 (6-7 CSAC).

Dallas, PA - Misericordia University scored 16 runs on 17 hits and handed Marywood University their sixth straight defeat as the host Cougars improved to 15-14 with a 16-7 win over the Pacers Monday afternoon in non-conference action.  The Pacers fall to 11-18 with the loss.

Scranton, PA - Visiting Centenary College used a mix of solid pitching and timely hitting as the visiting Cyclones completed a regular season sweep of Marywood University with a pair of four-run wins Saturday afternoon in CSAC baseball action.  The Cyclones took the opener 8-4 and then topped the Pacers 6-2 in the nightcap on a cold afternoon in Scranton.  With the wins, Centenary improved to 16-14 overall and now stand alone in third place in conference standings at 7-5 while the Pacers fall to 11-17 and 6-6 in league play.

Flemington, NJ - Centenary College used a five-run eighth inning to top visiting Marywood University 14-13 despite allowing the Pacers to plate nine runs over a late two-inning stretch in a key CSAC single game Friday afternoon at Diamond Nation Park in Flemington, New Jersey.  With the win, the Cyclones climb back to within a game of the Pacers in the CSAC standings before the teams complete their regular season series tomorrow in Scranton with twin-bill.

Flemington, NJ - Friday's important CSAC baseball game between host Centenary College and visiting Marywood University has been pushed to a 12:30 pm start time in order to try to beat expected inclement weather that is supposed to roll into the area late Friday afternoon.  The Pacers and Cyclones will take the field at the Diamond Nation baseball park in Flemington, New Jersey.   Directions to Diamond Nation can be found here.
