Each summer, several Marywood University coaches offer sport camps which are run on Marywood's campus. Most of the camps are co-ed and age offerings usually range from 8-18 years old.
In addition, Marywood coaches may offer skill clinics or other team events througout the year as fundraisers or community service projects. Please check this page often for updates on future camps.
Pocono Cup Soccer Camp - The Pocono Cup Soccer Camp is held each year at Marywood University. East Stroudsburg University (D2) Head Men's Coach Jerry Sheska is the camp director. The camp is for skilled high school aged players. The first week is a co-ed week while the second week is an "advanced team" week. A minimum of 11 players from your team attending the week will qualify you as a team for that week. Each camper will receive discounts and the coach will attend the week free of charge. A staff member will be assigned to each team, and will be instructing the team in areas such as advanced technical and tactical training, functional training and restarts.
4 on 4 Tournament: The Pocono Cup Camp offers a 4 v 4 tournament. Using our exclusive scheduling system we are able to play an afternoon of soccer where players are matched up with different teammates and playing different opponents each game. Through our own unique scoring system, we are able to come up with one individual winner out of over one hundred competitors!
The "Upper Ninety" Goalkeeper Camp runs in conjunction with the Pocono Cup Camp and all goalkeepers are invited to participate in this aspect of the camp. For more information on the Pocono Cup Soccer Camp, please visit their website at www.poconocupsoccercamps.org.
